Dr. Nicolette Romatz received her doctorate of audiology in 2018 from Central Michigan University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in communication disorders at Central Michigan University in 2014. Dr. Romatz completed her fourth year clinical internship at Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center and Professional Hearing Aid Center in 2017 and has now become a full-time member of the team. She works in the Sterling Heights, Rochester, and Macomb Township locations. Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, advanced hearing aid technology, and pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings. Dr. Romatz holds certifications through the American Speech and Hearing Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds a Michigan audiology license.
Dr. Mira Brooks has been working as a certified Audiologist for more than thirty years. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from Michigan State University. She was awarded her master’s degree in Audiology from Western Michigan University. Dr. Brooks obtained her doctorate degree in Audiology from the University of Florida.
Her vast clinical experience ranges from diagnostic testing to dispensing the latest technology in hearing amplification. Dr. Brooks serves a wide range of patients, including pediatric through geriatric populations. She is licensed in the State of Michigan and has certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA).
Dr. Maureen Streeter received her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Michigan in 2004. After teaching for Chicago Public Schools for several years, she moved back to Michigan to further her education. In 2013 she earned her doctorate in audiology from Wayne State University. Maureen completed her fourth-year audiology externship at Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center, and the Professional Hearing Aid Center from 2012-2013. She is now a full-time audiologist with the practice. Dr. Streeter is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and has a Michigan audiology license.
Dr. Roopal A. Chitnis is a licensed audiologist with over 35 years of experience in the field of audiology. She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University, a Master’s degree in Audiology from Northern Illinois University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Therapy from Bombay University in India. Since 2001.
Dr. Chitnis has been an integral part of the team at the Professional Hearing Aid Center and Lakeshore ENT. Her clinical interests include diagnostic hearing evaluations and personalized hearing aid fittings. Dr. Chitnis holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice audiology in the State of Michigan. Outside of her professional work, Dr. Chitnis enjoys cooking, crocheting, and taking long walks.
Dr. Hunter received her doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. After her doctorate degree, she did a fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in their balance and vestibular clinic. She has over 15 years of experience in Audiology within an Otolaryngology private or hospital-based practice.
She worked at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Fairview Hospital before moving to Michigan. Dr. Hunter has worked at Professional Hearing Aid Center and Lakeshore ENT for 12 years. Her primary area of interests within Audiology are adult diagnostics and adult hearing aid fittings. She is licensed in the state of Michigan and holds certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). When not in the clinic, you can find her spending time with family, reading a good book, or enjoying watching or participating in sporting activities.
Laura Aubin has been a practicing audiologist for over 24 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from Michigan State University in 1991, and her master’s degree in audiology from Wayne State University in 1993. She has worked in both otolaryngology practices and hearing care facilities. Laura has extensive experience with all age groups, from children to the elderly.
Her areas of interest are hearing aids and tinnitus, pediatric audiology, and balance disorders. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Michigan state license in audiology. Outside of the office, Laura loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her family. You can always find her outdoors bird watching or hiking the trails.
Michelle obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Audiology and Speech Pathology with an additional degree in Psychology from Michigan State University. Michelle also earned her Master’s Degree in Audiology from Michigan State University. She has over 30 years of experience working in hearing aid centers, the Oakland County School System and private Otolaryngology practices.
She has been with the Professional Hearing Aid Center and Lakeshore ENT for 15 years. Her interests include hearing aid technology as well as diagnostic testing. Michelle has certification through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of ASHA and American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Outside of work you can find Michelle walking her dog, Gus, tearing up the pickle ball court, or heading to Pine Knob for some good music.
Dr. Aaron T. Gale followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming an audiologist. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University in 1990. He then went on to earn his master‘s degree in audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Science). Dr. Gale is board-certified in audiology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. He also maintains licensure in the state of Michigan as both an audiologist and hearing instrument specialist. Outside of audiology, Dr. Gale is certified as a personal trainer and has been interested in fitness since 1998. He enjoys the diversity and challenges presented by these two very different professions.
Dr. Anne Maynard received her bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences from the Michigan State University in 1997. In 1999 she earned her master’s in audiology from Wayne State University. After the completion of her Clinical Fellowship Year at the Michigan Ear Institute, she began a position at Lakeshore Ear Nose and Throat and the Professional Hearing Aid Center.
She earned her Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Florida in 2003 and began a part time position at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital. She rejoined the staff at Lakeshore Ear, Nose and Throat and the Professional Hearing Aid Center in 2021. Dr. Maynard has her Clinical Competency Certification and membership with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Michigan audiology license. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, spending time with friends, renovating her 100-year-old house, and getting outside.
Dr. Emily Brown received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Grand Valley State University in 2025. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2022. She is proud to be a laker for a lifetime. Dr. Brown completed her externship at Lakeshore Ear, Nose, and Throat and Professional Hearing Aid Center. She practices in the Auburn Hills and Sterling Heights locations.
Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult diagnostic testing in addition to pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings. Dr. Brown holds a certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association and holds a Michigan Audiology license. She is passionate about the world of audiology and wants to make a positive impact on her patients while improving their quality of life. In her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, getting her steps in, and heading up north for the weekend!
Dr. Emily Johnson received her Doctorate of Audiology in 2025 from Central Michigan University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Communication Disorders at Central Michigan University in 2021. Dr. Johnson completed her 4th year clinical internship at Lakeshore ENT and Professional Hearing Aid Center in 2025 and has now become a full time member of the team. She works in the Sterling Heights and Auburn Hills locations.
Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, balance evaluations, advanced hearing aid technology, pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings, and custom hearing protection fittings. Dr. Johnson holds certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as a Michigan Audiology License. Outside of work you can find Dr. Johnson off roading and hunting with her family, taking care of her new kittens, and spending summers at camp.
Dr. Grace Harris graduated with her doctorate in audiology in 2017 from Central Michigan University, where she also received a bachelor’s degree in communication disorders in 2013. Grace has extensive experience working in ear nose and throat and is proficient in treating a wide array of complex hearing losses.
She has been with the practice since September 2023. Dr. Harris has certification from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is licensed to practice audiology through the state of Michigan.
Dr. Hartings received his Doctorate of Audiology in 2023 from Grand Valley State University. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences from Grand Valley State University in 2015. Dr. Hartings completed his 3rd year externship at Lakeshore Ear, Nose and Throat in 2023, and was hired as a full-time clinical audiologist that same year.
He works primarily in the Sterling Heights and Auburn Hills locations. His areas of interest include diagnostic hearing and balance evaluations for adults and pediatrics, hearing aid fittings for all ages, as well as hearing/ear protection fittings. Dr. Hartings holds a certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as a Michigan audiology license.
Dr. Jordan Woodman received her Doctorate in Audiology from Central Michigan University in May 2023. She holds a Michigan Audiology license and is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Dr. Woodman completed her fourth-year clinical internship at Houston ENT and Hearing Aid Center in Houston, Texas before joining the team at the Professional Hearing Aid Center.
She works in the Macomb location and sees patients of all ages for diagnostic testing, as well as hearing aid fitting and support. When she is not working, Dr. Woodman enjoys reading, spending time with loved ones, and baking treats for her co-workers to try.

Dr. Michelle Wyche received her doctorate of audiology in 2021 from Northwestern University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders in 2018 from Northwestern University. Her clinical interests include diagnostic testing and hearing aid fittings/follow up care. Dr. Wyche is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and holds a Michigan audiology license. Dr. Wyche loves attending sporting events, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Dr. Nicolette Beazley has been part of the Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat and Professional Hearing Aid Center team since 2017. She began her career here as a clinical extern and is now the Assistant Director of Audiology. She received her doctorate of audiology in 2018 from Central Michigan University. Dr. Beazley works in the Auburn Hills and Sterling Heights locations. Her areas of interest include pediatric and adult diagnostic testing, advanced hearing aid technology, and pediatric and adult hearing aid fittings. Dr. Beazley holds certifications through the American Speech and Hearing Association, is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds a Michigan audiology license. When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her camping or exploring the outdoors with her husband, daughter, and friends.
Dr. Benninger received his Doctorate of Audiology in 2014 from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Ryan obtained his bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology at Miami University in 2009. He completed his fourth-year clinical internship at the Louis Stokes Veteran Affairs Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Benninger currently works in the Saint Clair Shores and Macomb office locations. His area of interest includes vestibular testing, bone anchored hearing aid technology, and adult hearing aid fittings. Dr. Benninger holds certification through the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and holds a Michigan audiology license.
Dr. Samantha White received her Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University in May 2025. She holds a Michigan Audiology license and is a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association. Dr. White completed her fourth-year clinical fellowship at Lakeshore ENT and Professional Hearing Aid Center, where she continues to work today.
She works primarily in the Macomb location and sees patients of all ages for hearing aid fittings and diagnostic testing. She occasionally works at the St Clair Shores and Sterling Heights office performing hearing tests. Dr. White has special interests in hearing aid fittings and follow-ups, in addition, she enjoys diagnostic vestibular testing and electrophysiology testing. Outside of work, she enjoys crocheting, attending trivia, and trying new restaurants.
Brittany Richmond is a 4th year audiology extern. She has received her Bachelor of Science and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Audiology degree both from Central Michigan University. Her passion is providing patient-centered care while managing tinnitus and fitting hearing aids. When not in the office, you can find her reading, practicing yoga, or walking through a park.
Olivia Wagoner is a 4th year audiology extern. She received her Bachelor of Science from Baldwin Wallace University and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Audiology from Central Michigan University. Olivia is dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized care to each of her patients. Her clinical interests are in diagnostics, electrophysiology, and vestibular testing. When she is not assisting patients, she can be found reading, at the movie theatre, or working on her latest cross stitch project.
Dawson, a dedicated technician at the Professional Hearing Aid Center in Sterling Heights, has been assisting patients since 2022. His expertise lies in the cleaning and repair of hearing aids, ensuring they work to the best of their ability for the patients who rely on them. He is also adept at addressing patients technological questions and problems, including phone pairing and hearing device troubleshooting. When he’s not busy helping patients at work, Dawson enjoys spending time at home with his wife and their two beloved cats.
Jamie works as an otolaryngology/audiology tech at the Professional Hearing Aid Center in Auburn Hills. She has been with us since 2021. Before coming to the Hearing Aid Center, Jamie worked at our sister location, Lakeshore Ear Nose and Throat for 4 years. Jamie graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in science. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Kim is the receptionist at the Professional Hearing Aid Center in Auburn Hills. She has been with our company for over 12 years. Kim manages all the front desk duties such as verifying insurance benefits, patient communications and hearing aid drop offs. Kim is trained in hearing aid cleaning and is certified in the Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personnel. In her free time, she loves spending time with her 7 grandkids, going up north to Traverse City, and keeping her reading streak on her Kindle going! She is up to 489 days and counting!
Jennifer Erickson is the receptionist at the Professional Hearing Aid Center located on 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township. She has been with our company for one year. Jennifer manages all the front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and patient communications. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading, watching movies, and shopping.
Jamese is the Office Mgr. at the St. Clair Shores location. She has been with the company since January 2025. Jamese handles all office and front desk responsibilities. Jamese has two associate degrees, one in Interior Design and in Billing and Coding and Office Administration. She loves spending time with her daughter and enjoying family and baking for her cupcake business.
Dakota Sexton is our newest receptionist/Assistant Office Operations Coordinator. While she hasn’t been with us for long, she has been working in the healthcare field for over 7 years. Dakota handles all of the front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments verifying insurance benefits, and patient communications. If not at work, you would probably find Dakota at home playing with her 3 dogs. Or trying to convince her husband to adopt another.
