Austin Collum, M.A., CF-SLP, is a clinical fellow voice pathologist and singing voice specialist at Lakeshore Professional Voice Center. Austin received his Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Vocal Music from Harding University. As a graduate student, Austin received specialized training in voice disorders, completing externships at Wake Forest Baptist Voice and Swallowing Center and at The University of Southern California Voice Center. Throughout his training, Austin has had the opportunity to care for the professional voice and singing voice in Los Angeles, working with voiceover artists, professional and collegiate singers, actors, and varying musicians. He also received speciality training in the management and care of the aging voice and laryngeal dystonias. Austin’s musical background involves both classical and musical theatre training. He enjoys working with singers of all genres and helping them regain their voice.
